SHC is governed by a volunteer board of directors elected by the membership. Directors bring experience from non-profit and private operations, development and finance, Indigenous housing, health care, municipal government and academia. The board sets strategy, approves the budget and policy positions, and holds the President & CEO accountable for delivering the strategic plan.
